About Allysa Manzi
Allysa Manzi has dedicated her career to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities through person-centered, compassionate care. With experience as a Residential Counselor, Respite provider, Community Habilitation worker, and assistant teacher, Allysa brings a well-rounded and hands-on understanding of direct support across multiple settings.
She has worked with respected organizations including Yedei Chesed, JM Murray, and The Center for Spectrum Services, and her commitment to this field began early. While attending Arlington High School, Allysa volunteered in the BOCES Buddy Program, supporting students in special education classrooms and building meaningful one-on-one relationships.
Allysa is proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) and has taught swim lessons to children and young adults with developmental disabilities, helping them build safety skills, confidence, and independence. She is certified through NYS OPWDD and approaches every role with patience, empathy, and a deep respect for the individuals and families she serves.
